Social issues performances on Saturday marked the annual day celebrations of Mother’s Pride School in its courtyard at Model Town, bathinda here. The theme of the event was “भोर सुहानी ” (The dawn of Nextgen) and it aimed at acquainting the childs with various social ills. Students enthralled the audience on the occasion. Ms. Heena Gupta (DSP, Bathinda) was the chief guest who inaugurated the function by lighting a lamp.
Bhangra and other dance performances left everyone spellbound highlighted social issues. Tiny tots took part in various events based on right to education, child labour,inflation, gender equality, doping and corruption.
The Chief Guest applauded the efforts put in by the teachers, and parents to enable the young children to perform with such great confidence. She acknowledged the efforts of Mother,s Pride in shaping the personality of students through a greater focus on sports and co-curricular activities. Finally, the principal Mrs. Dr Manveen Kaur and Mr S Kochar(Secretary Green education society) thanked the entire team for their tireless efforts in making the function a grand success.
The students who excelled in extracurricular activities and academics in the year were given mementos.
